TERMS & CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION


Registration Entitlement:

  1. Symposium + Workshop Registration: Registration fee includes access to attend symposium and workshop sessions, symposium and workshop materials, access to exhibition area, ticket to networking dinner, refreshment breaks and lunch.
  2. 2 Days Symposium Registration: Registration fee includes symposium sessions, symposium material, access to exhibition area, ticket to networking dinner(except for Student Registration), refreshment breaks and lunch. Registration fee does not include access to workshop.
  3. 1 Day Symposium Registration: Registration fee includes symposium sessions, symposium material, access to exhibition area, refreshment breaks and lunch only on the registered day selected upon registration. Registration fee does not include access to workshop and the other unselected day of the symposium.
  4. Workshop Registration: Registration fee includes workshop sessions, workshop materials, access to exhibition area, refreshment breaks and lunch. Registration fee does not include access to symposium and networking dinner.
  5. Fees for accommodation, flights and tours are NOT included in the registration fee.

Registration Process and Payment:

  1. Participant may register online by login to Symposium website at http://symposium.pmi.org.my/ . Alternatively, they may complete the registration form and email to the Symposium Secretariat at symposium@pmi.org.my.
  2. Online registration is only open until 20 September 2018 (GMT +8hrs). After 20 September 2018, kindly register onsite at the symposium venue. Registration counter will open on 24 September 2018 from 7.30am onwards. Only credit card or cash will be accepted for onsite registration.
  3. For payment via local cheque or telegraphic transfer full payment of registration fee must be received by 5 September 2018.
  4. For payment via Local Purchase Order (LPO), the original copy of LPO must be received by 1 September 2018. Please mail the original copy of the LPO to Symposium Secretariat for verification purpose and confirmation of your participation.
  5. Confirmation letter of registration will be sent via email upon full payment of the registration fee received. Please bring along the confirmation letter and present it at the registration counter during the symposium.
  6. Payment of registration fees can be made via: Credit Card (Visa & MasterCard only), Telegraphic/Bank Transfer, Local Purchase Order (Applicable to Malaysian Government Agencies only) and Local Cheque.
  7. For payments made by Credit Card, the amount reflected in the Credit Card will be in the currency of the cardholder’s country of origin. Transaction description to be appeared on Credit Card statement shall be “AOSCE - PMIMY”. If an invoice is requested, the amount paid will be reflected in MYR only.
  8. The Organiser reserves the rights, and will inform Participants on any alteration to any of the arrangements for the symposium including the cancellation of the event should unforeseen circumstances require such action.
  9. In the special circumstances that the entire event has to be cancelled, the Organiser will refund registration fee to the participants. However, the Organiser will not be liable for other associated costs, e.g. accommodation and the travelling expenses, and any inconvenience incurred to the participants due to the cancellation. Therefore, participants are advised to arrange their own travel insurance.

Registration Transfer:

  1. All registrations are transferrable on or before 15 August 2018. Transfer requests must be made by e-mail to the Symposium Secretariat atsymposium@pmi.org.my. Registration form of the new participant must be attached upon submission of the saidrequest. Transfer of registration is not allowed after 15 August 2018.

Cancellation and Refund Policies:

  1. All cancellation of registration must be made by email to the Symposium Secretariat at symposium@pmi.org.my on or before 20 September 2018 to entitle 50% refund.
  2. Cancellation made after 20 September 2018 as well as 'no show' is liable for the FULL registration fee.
  3. All refunds will be made in MYR at the prevailing foreign exchange rate.
  4. Refund for cancellations will be made within three months after the symposium.
  5. Any charges imposed by banks and Credit Card issuers will be borne by the registrants.

Liability:

  1. The Organiser reserves the right to make changes where deemed necessary, with or without prior notice to parties concerned. All disputes are subjected to the Malaysian Law. We kindly ask you to authorise us by your signature to use all registration data given in this form for computerised handling of the symposium/workshop
